  • The Montessori school provides preschool education for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years old.

    Tuition

    SUMMER 2005 session begins Tuesday, May 31st.  It runs for 11 weeks and ends Friday, August 12th.  Weekly tuition is due on Monday.  ***1/2 day students, $45.00.  ***3 full day students, $50.00.  ***Full time students, $75.00.

    FALL 2005 School year begins Monday, August 22nd                

    Orientation week August 22nd through 26th for all Montessori students:
      Cost is half day students $ 65.00 and fulltime $ 95.00                     

    Weekly tuition is due on Monday.
    ***Half day students: (7:30-11:30, Mon-Fri) $ 50.00 per week
    ***Full time students: (7:30-5:30, Mon-Fri) $ 80.00 per week which includes a hot lunch.
    * A $ 25.00 supply fee is assessed at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
    All students must attend orientation week; if a student begins Montessori at another time during the school year the orientation fee applies for their first week.

    About the director

    Mrs. Humphrey has been owner and director of the Montessori School of Russellville for nine years. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Montessori and Elementary Education from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri. She studied under Ms. Lena Wikramartne, a Montessori master that lived and worked with Maria Montessori. She holds a lifetime Missouri elementary teaching certificate as well as a Kansas certificate in grades K-8. Mrs. Humphrey has been teaching the Montessori method for more than 24 years.
